Shape the future of music education in Manchester. Become a Trustee of the MyHub Music Trust!

Are you passionate about the power of music to transform lives? Do you want to help shape the future of music education and opportunities for young people in Manchester?

MyHub Music Trust is on a mission to ensure every young person in Manchester has the chance to experience the joy and power of music. Now in our tenth year, we’re looking for new trustees to join our board and help us drive our mission forward.

Why you?

  • You care about creativity, inclusion, and opportunity.
  • You want to influence big decisions and drive positive change.
  • You’re ready to bring your skills, ideas, and energy to a vibrant charity.

What's in it for you?

  • Be part of an inspiring movement that transforms lives through music.
  • Shape strategy, champion innovation, and open doors for young musicians.
  • Connect with like-minded people who share your passion for the arts.

Who we're looking for

We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds and experiences. You don’t need prior trustee experience—just enthusiasm, commitment, and a belief in the power of music. Skills in areas such as finance, education, community engagement, or fundraising are particularly valuable.

Young Trustees (18+)

We're particularly keen to hear from younger applicants (18+) who want to bring new ideas and represent the voices of young people on our board. 121 mentorship and support will be provided for those taking their first steps into joining a board, with individual guidance given before and after each board meeting.

Your Commitment

  • Attend quarterly board meetings (online or in person).
  • Oversee planning, delivery & reporting responsibilities for funds raised by the Trust
  • Share your expertise and enthusiasm.
  • Help us amplify music education's impact across Manchester.
